The testing for this incredible double-sided tape was conducted by a team of Canadian Hair Accessory Designers who performed super-tough extensive testing! Our testers washed their TD DST lined hair clips in the washing machine, froze them in frigid temperatures, heated them over their toasters, had their children swim in chlorine swimming pools with their hair clips & wear them for physical play & activity. After all of this abuse, the lined clips remained unchanged, with no peeling or lifting at all!!

Through personal experience and the experience of our Testing Team, TD DST tested stronger than fillet tape. The team did not use any hot glue in combination with their tape when lining hair clips. The clips stayed perfect (even in the clip pinch) and withstood a battery of tests that were conducted on them.

The adhesive is the same adhesive used in our Triple Flip Grip which is a loved product by so many designers. This adhesive is strong enough to adhere metal to ribbon, so it will be a breeze to use for scrapbooking and any other crafts!

Directions for Hair Clip Lining Adhesion:

1. Peel back the tape from the roll
2. Place the sticky side of the tape on the back side of your pre-cut & heat-sealed ribbon piece.
3. Cut the exact length to fit the ribbon piece.
4. Peel off the backing & line the clip.
5. Press down everywhere to activate the pressure-released 3M adhesive.
Note: Hot glue is not required, however, can be used in combination if desired.

For other crafts, simply cut or tear the length needed & apply, peel back the backing, and press the two mediums together to activate the pressure-sensitive adhesion.

You are now ready to add Triple Flip Grip for Alligator clips for the perfect no-slip clips.
Clips can be used right away but take 24 hours to fully cure.

You will be so impressed with TD DST and can use it in confidence knowing it is safe for use in children's products and does not need to be used in combination with hot glue.
